The lightest possible Google Analytics 4 tag for WordPress: one setting, no bloat, logged-in users tagged by role so you can filter staff out of reports.

== Description ==

Loads the official gtag.js snippet on every public page. Nothing loads in wp-admin. Logged-in users are sent with an anonymous, stable user_id and a wp_role user property so you can separate staff from real visitors in GA4 — or tick one box to not track editors and admins at all. No dashboards, no cookies of its own, no external calls beyond Google's.

Built and used in production by Simple Web Solutions (Lafayette, Louisiana) on our own stores and client sites. Free, no licence key, no phone-home, no upsell. Need it customised or installed for you? https://simpweb.com/get-a-quote/

== Installation ==

1. Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → choose the zip → Install Now → Activate.
2. Settings → Site Tag → paste your G-XXXXXXXX Measurement ID (Analytics → Admin → Data streams) → Save.
